Hi Phil-- Our city busses (MCI and Gillig) are all 24 volt systems. We try and keep charging voltage to 28.2 volts. Or we consume to much battery water. Anything over 28.6 v is cooking batteries, and is very noticeable in off gassing smell. The busses also use... Login to read more.
