I have rebuilt so many Detroit 2 cycles I can do them in my sleep. Do this.

1. Drop oil pan

2. Remove oil filter

3. Pull oil regulator on cooler side off

4. Pull all air box covers off if you can (ones above cooler are going to be tough)
