Hi Bob: The tach signal comes from a terminal off of the alternator. There is a connector/fuse approx 12 inches away from the alternator. Off the alternator is purple 18ga., goes into fuse, comes out 18ga yellow and meanders onto the cluster. Dave Login to read more.
