Alan, Diesels typically run as high as 100:1 or higher at idle....a/f ratio is meaningless, until you get up to wide open throttle where it is typically no richer than 20:1, or you get into smoking problems...black smoke that is. Diesel combustion does not sta... Login to read more. ![]()
