Hi Bob: It was the rear. It is had to describe, but the casting that gave out is similar to a stiffener between the legs of the u-bolts. Foud on the rear of MOST F450's with GVWR under 20,000 lbs. Really is not too thick. Easy fix, though somewhat costly for p... Login to read more.
