I don't know about an 01 but I just did a 98 about a month a go and I did not pull the cam. Used a puller to remove the cam gear and then heated it up in a oven for about 2 hours or so. Gear slipped right on. Worked great. Took me about 12 hours, but the local... Login to read more.
