Yes, they do break like that. Look CAREFULLY at the mainshaft clutching teeth, the ones the synchro engages. These round off, and the shifter throw is insufficient to engage them. When new, the teeth should have a pointed chamfer as does the synchro itself. Wh... Login to read more. ![]()
