Yes, the 30SI/TR did cause a few problems at times, especially trying to source a new one here in New Zealand. I have also seen a few TR units fitted to 2500 Leece Neville alternators, and must confess to fitting a couple to fuel trucks to get 24volts ... Login to read more.
