You might check cetane rating of fuel. We had some city street dept. trucks that were smoking. DT466E Checked fuel with cetane hydrometer and it tested about 30. Got some Amoco Premier diesel fuel (tested at 36) and ran engines, smoke cleared up completly. Did... Login to read more.
