I haven't had any swollen glow plugs on the 6.5 but I had lots of experience with the 6.2.....One thing I did to try to get a swollen glow plug out ( before breaking it off) was I I took a brake sppon and notched it out to fit around the base of the glow plug.... Login to read more.
