I believe it was 1991 that Ford change the diode from a 10A plug in type to a 10A soldered in type and then managed to put the wrong one ( 5A ), hidden ( 2 red wires attached to one end and a single red wire to the other end ) in the harness near the fuse pane... Login to read more.
