There is never ATF in the front axle. The transfer case uses Dextron/Mercon. Ford does have a 4X4 front axle lube (super secret stuff). It's 75W-90! Basically, if it has manual hubs you can use 80W-90. If it has automatic hubs you will want the lighter lube. Login to read more.
