I'd doubt the nut's moving, but in order to have axial clearance, the distance from the seal shoulder to whatever metal part is touching the outer bearing's inner race is increasing. Things such as bearing wear, race movement in the hub, seal shoulder wear fro... Login to read more. ![]()
