The proper Torgue for a single nut is 50 ft pounds if it has two nuts it is 50 ft pounds for inner and 150 for outside nut, with this many failures I would use a stemco seal and wear sleve but it sounds like it is a case of trying to run a grease bearing setup... Login to read more.
