I wouldn't over-analyze this problem. It's common for a seal to be improperly installed and leak after 100 miles or so. I would use common sense, replace the seals, and make sure the brakes aren't overheating. Bosch Pin Slide brakes ('98 up) are having trouble... Login to read more.
