Re: 8.3 cummins engine shut off solonoid
It sounds as if you may have the pull-down (Start) wiring
switched with the hold (run)wiring. The magnet for the
pull-down is much larger and draws too many amps to run
continuously. That's why one pulls the plunger down, and
the other one has to hold it. ![]()
