Check the air gap from the flywheel to the sensor. Bottom the sensor on the flywheel then turn it out 1/4 to 1/2 turn and lock it there. The transducer might just be worn out. Not able to convert the fast rpm signals to a strong ac voltage to the tach head. ma... Login to read more.
