On this truck Delco suggests using a 41MT starter. The BEST starter to use is a New Nippondenso Starter. It is made for Cat 3116 & 3126 engines. The engine cranks over alot faster, Starter draws less amps. The Nippon unit will last twice as long as the Delco. Login to read more.
