2017 M2-106, MBE 906 Engine
M2-106 with the Detroit MBE 906 Non EGR, Non DPF and related
emissions systems. LPG Bob Tail truck, 5.000 gallon tank.
Engine cranks no start. Scanned and was code for RPM signal.
Ckt good, but low range signal. Replaced both crank & cam
with OEM sensors. Same problem. It feels like it loses
prime. When aided with starting spray, it starts and takes
like 30 second turning low and thrilling. Later it
stabilizes and idles normally. It can work the whole day
normally. Good power. PTO. Everything. Next day, no start
again. We are in the Caribbean. No Preheaters. No glow
plugs. No ice. No snow. 30 Degrees. Only Sun, Sand, beaches
and vacations. :-) I am leaning like there is a Prime loss.
There is no fuel leaks anywhere. Fuel supply is good from
tank. Perhaps I have an air intake somewhere on the fuel
system? It seems it discharges overnight.
