Gotta love those guys. IMHO fan type, air or viscous doesn't matter much if the radiator is plugged. I don't see fans come on without a real heavy load or pulling grade loaded.. If it's not a continuous grade fan will usually quit pretty quick and temp will dr... Login to read more.
