Ah, yes. The timing gear was slotted! It was kind of hard to see, but it was slotted. With the viewing plate on the pump removed, it appeared that a new mark had been made during the rebuild, but the old one was still visible,( maybe hard to "erase").. so mayb... Login to read more.
