Look up Eaton bulletin TAIB0846.......

We had an Ultrashift, don't recall the code.... but wouldn't engage a gear, on Eatons advice had changed the harness and X-Y shifter without success. Next call to Eaton they had us follow the bulletin.... Problem solved... Login to read more.
