Re: ISB Cummins front crank seal pilot
The seal pilot as you call it is to keep the PTFE seal lip from "collapsing". The sleeve keeps the seal lip stretched out to fit over the crank. Once the pilot is removed the seal lip will now go down to the size it was made and ride on the crankshaft/balancer... Login to read more. ![]()
