what you have is called cavitation, or pin holes in the cyinder walls. I would say about 30 % of the 7.3's, up till powerstroke, had this problem, the fix is a reman, or what I do is sleeve all 8 cyls. I have had good luck with Dealers Diesel, out of Mineapoli... Login to read more.
