Just went through this on a UD. Suggest teaching in a vacuum gauge and watching the vacuum readings when you apply the break. On the UD there was a vacuum reserve tank that had a small hole in it. The vacuum pump had enough volume to hold about 26 inhg at idle... Login to read more.
