If my memory is correct these VP 44 pumps were a massive problem. Biggest problem is there is an electric fuel pump that feeds fuel to the VP 44 at about 7 to 10 psi or in that range. If that pump fails the engine will continue to run but the VP 44 will destro... Login to read more.
