Just a hunch- I've used denatured alcohol to flush diesel fuel out of DEF systems multiple times, on the dealer's recommendation. (Whatever that's worth). I don't think the alcohol is the issue. I'd be more worried about the detergent in the works, particularl... Login to read more.
