400 PSI does seem high but that is how they work. No fan, pressure climbs, the big fan engages and drops the pressure down in 20 seconds. Fan off, pressure climbs, that's the cycle. I always wondered why the did not put a small electric fan on them. Quite anno... Login to read more.
