Vac/hyd brakes were used on larger bumper and gooseneck trailers. The system was superior to electric brakes and could be manually set to hold the brakes on, engine off. Sounds like the hyd/vac valve is bad or plumbed incorrectly. Or maybe the vac line is occl... Login to read more.
