I would suggest performing a pin drag test of the terminals for the TCM connector. If they are OK then back probe Batt+, ign+, gnd, and CAN hi & lo at the TCM. For most cases a DVOM is good enough to diagnose a hard comm fault on a CAN bus. CAN hi should be 2... Login to read more.
