Mike, it will pass thru the 1702 connector. There can be problems in there. Heat, corrosion etc. If you download the manual in the back is schematics for the connector bodies. NAV did not do routing diagrams. Also the 2010 & up wiring manual is a pain. It goes... Login to read more.
