I usually put the coolant system under a vacuum cold and warm. Then I listen with a stethoscope on the EGR cooler. I usually hear air bubbles leaking into the coolant system if it is leaking. Also, you can inspect the EGR bore for wetness or puddles. Sometimes... Login to read more.
