Hi Mark,

500k is quite common in car/limo service where they don't idle constantly.

I used to work for one until 1999. We routinely saw Ford's old 302 EFI engines go easily 650k to 750k before the ring lands on the pistons would pound out, they'd still run... Login to read more.
