Pete, there seems to have been a problem in the 2000 to 2003 with piston scuffing. A letter came out in 2008, IK1200309. The scuffing made the heat to take out the o'rings. Saw a lot of this and always thought it was over temp or cylinder wash down until I saw... Login to read more.
