I have not heard it on a 7.3 either. Was just throwing it out before pulling eng. I have heard it a lot of times on the pre 1994 DT's (the really really good DT's) they had a single layer metal gasket. Always leaked in the same spot. Behind the air compressor ... Login to read more.
