Not enough heat for regen
Good morning IATN, I could sure use a little help on this one. What I have is a 2011 Freightliner M2 with a 6.7 isb ser.no. 73193627 has 141k on the clock. This vehicle has had virtually no after treatment issues. Came in about 2 weeks ago derated with about 10 codes. Codes 1921 and 2387 active. Removed the turbo, actuator was stuck. Disassembled cleaned carbon free up sliding vgt ring, reassembled adjusted did vgt install and calibrate. Sent dpf and cat to be cleaned. Did standing regen, all good, road test, all good. Truck came back a week later for a tail gate issue, just for grins checked for codes, all clear. Day and a half later truck comes back in derate, 1921 active, also had 2 egr codes. removed egr cleaned removed differential pressure sensor 1 port clogged with carbon. inspect dpf, heavy soot. Sent dpf out to be cleaned again. Now here is my issue, put it outside to regen it will run till it times out, 1921 will not clear but it only builds 430 degrees not enough to light the cat. what am I missing recheck turbo, no exhaust leaks charge cooler not leaking. Any ideas ? Thanks in advance.
