Hello Stephen, we did check for crankshaft end play. I saw in 1991 Town Car 4.6 that the belt would come off every time the customer would hit the brakes from highway speeds. I did not see anythng wrong with the pulleys so I put a pry bar behind the balancer a... Login to read more.
