Matt, We used Lestek, 160 amp I beleive, on our 91 Grown Vic Police cars. The old Federal Visibar overheads drew over 30 amps and the 90 amp Ford wouldn't take a prolonged idle. This alternator is expensive, about $400, but cheap and easy to repair. Large ... Login to read more.
