Im with you Rob. FWIW, most states have laws which require vehicles to have a mechanical EMERGENCY brake capable of stopping the vehicle in the event of a primary brake failure. Im sure you would also find this in the Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standards. IM... Login to read more.
