In Louisiana, Peter, the inspection stickers are called "Brake Tags". It use to be you had to drive about 5 mph and hit the brakes on these metal grids. All 4 wheels had to move the meter. They don't test the brakes any more, just the lights, horn, wipers etc.... Login to read more.
