what kind and wt. oil did you use? what did he use prior? I have had vehicles that use 1/2 quart of oil in 3,000 miles using say penz or valv 10w30. change that to motorcraft 5w30 or even kendall 10-30 and consumption went to 1 qt. every 1,000 miles! something... Login to read more.
