Re: Can Someone?
Posted to Shop Management Forum on 12/31/2023

will you ever do this repair on any van again? I consider this repair high risk. and should be declined, if it results in you doing a warranty repair you will lose any profit you made. and loose for-profit repair, income time you spend on this warranty. GONE.

it really hurts when you did a pro repair. others won't decline or send consumers away. ok, sublet it to dealer and mark it up, only safe option I can think of. what say you? OTHERS?

any business model, that accepts losing money, IS smart, escapes me, yea oil change loss leader.

OTHERS, WHAT WOULD BE PROFITIBLE RATIO? FORMULS FOR THIS HIGH-RISK REPAIR? I JUST DO NOT BELIEVE CONSUMERS WOULD BUY IT. THEY HAVE MUCH CHEEPER OPTIONS.

GROSS MANAGMENT FAILURE IF THIS CONTINUES,
