Pretty sure the MTF that GM recommends is basically DexIII anyway. Pretty sure it is a thinner red fluid, not gear oil. So I'm pessimistic that it will help, but it was something that changed when he dropped off his truck. (Me using DexIII during a service) So... Login to read more.
