Thanks. The rear oil plate/rear main oil seal on GM trucks is another nightmare. I've found it a bad idea to replace just the rear main seal. Replace the the whole rear main plate/seal is as cheap as the rear main seal alone and it fixes the problem. BT... Login to read more.
