These are like the old 3.0 Toyota engines, we would not do timing belts without at least pulling a valve cover to see if sludge existed. Too problematic. Sometimes it's a crapshoot and can't be avoided but I've seen so many 2.7s gummed up I would be leary of d... Login to read more. ![]()
