Another thing I found...looks like GM may have done it the way I originally thought it was done, but then corrected themselves..... GM Bulletin 04-05-23-002 covering 97-04 Impala/Century/Aztek etc... they INCREASED the min thick spec from 27mm and 30... Login to read more.
