We have 8" with fiber using 5/8" rebar here in Texas, our soil is a sandy base. I used a total of 20 semi loads of crushed concrete for the base layer for the lot and pack it down while the soil was wet. Then I hauled in loads of old brick from re-construction... Login to read more.
