On the aluminum, we use an insert for spark plug repair. It changes the thread from 1.5 to 1.25. It keeps the diameter at 14 mm. On steel, we use a silver alloy and braze on a new 14 X 1.5 nut and keep the OE dimensions. that's the one I referenced in ... Login to read more.
