I think it's a J frame. If memory serves me they made 2 types. One had a thinner, lighter (H?) frame and the other had a heavier frame. I believe the J frame w/a 6 in barrel & wooden magnum grips was the one Dirty Harry used in the movies. Going on fuzzy memor... Login to read more.
