I've seen a few (maybe 6) 2.7s using conventional 5w30 oil, at 3 to 5k intervals and they sludge up very quickly. Especially in severe cold AND severe heat conditions. It's almost like the engine oil can't heat up fast enough when cold out, but then... Login to read more.
